Le Petit Lac

Your hosts at Le Petit Lac are Colin & Joy Solomon.

During 2004 we decided to follow our French dream and left behind the security of our lives in Jersey in the Channel Islands, where we had worked in the Finance industry for the past twenty years.

We had dreamed of buying a house in France in large grounds that also had the potential to convert outbuildings into Luxury Gites, that we could rent out to paying guests.
It was also important for us to find a property that would accommodate our horses.

After looking at 12 properties throughout North West France we finally settled on Le Petit Lac and began the daunting process of converting the outbuilding into the Luxury Gites you can see today in the Photo Gallery. With many average smaller gites available we really wanted to raise the bar on the standard of Gite accommodation and are very proud of all we have achieved.

We also wanted to cater for larger groups who wanted to holiday with both friends and family, the gites are such that you are able to secure some privacy for yourselves at times, even when holidaying together.

We receive many compliments from our guests who have stayed in our Gites, but by far the biggest compliment is the sight of our returning visitors.

Our mission is simply to provide all our guests with a friendly service and a luxury standard of accommodation in this beautiful country, so they can have a fantastic holiday.
